Parashar joined New State Capital Partners in 2020. During the past fifteen years, Parashar has invested in leveraged buyouts, founder/family recapitalizations and corporate carve-outs spanning across a wide range of industries including business services, technology, industrial, government services, consumer products and energy services. Over the course of his career in private equity, Parashar executed over 25 M&A and financing transactions, including platform investments, add-on acquisitions, portfolio company sales and portfolio company recapitalizations.
Prior to joining New State, Parashar was a Principal in the U.S. LBO Fund of H.I.G. Capital. During his ten years at H.I.G., Parashar was involved in all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, execution, structuring and financing. As a board member of his portfolio companies, he worked in partnership with management teams to drive key value creation initiatives. Before H.I.G. Capital, Parashar worked with Tower Three Partners, a middle-market private equity firm based out of Greenwich, CT. He started his career off in investment banking in the M&A group of JPMorgan.
Parashar attended Dartmouth College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and later attended The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for his M.B.A. .
